If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
Psalm 139:11-12, ESV
Our God is omnipotent and omniscient, knowing and capable of all things. Nothing surprises Him, and He controls all things. Trust in God.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9, ESV
Seeking God gives us wisdom about ourselves and our world, especially in knowing that we are weak on our own but that He chooses to move through us to change this world for His glory!
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
Colossians 4:2, ESV
When we seek God, we gain wisdom for understanding ourselves and our world. The best way to start is through prayer, thanking Him for all He does and asking for His help in all situations.
But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

Seeking God helps us understand ourselves and our world better, and He empowers us to enact His justice and goodness in this world.
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence

Seeking God helps us understand ourselves and our world better, and He helps us to become more like Him as we seek Him, able to overcome and endure all things in this life.

We know our world and ourselves better when we seek God, and even in the midst of a wicked and dangerous world, we can see God moving with us, giving peace, joy, and wisdom

We know ourselves and our world better when we seek God first, and His wisdom flows through us to make wise decisions.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

To understand ourselves and our world, we need to know our Creator. Seek Him and read His Word, The Bible.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Prayer changes us, and especially it helps us to think like God and trust in His ways.
