The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are protected.
Proverbs 18:10, CSB
God loves us and became one of us because of His love, and just as Christ overcame sin and death we know we have hope for eternity and this life. Now we confidently share this love and hope with others.
“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in me will ever be thirsty again.”
John 6:35, CSB
The love of Christ brought Him to redeem our lives from sin and separation, and all of our needs are met in Him. Let us move in His love to take the nourishment of the gospel to all lost and broken world.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.
Romans 1:17, CSB
Love for Christ is shown by trusting Him in all things, especially the gospel that grants grace through faith, knowing Christ was faithful out of His love for the Father and for us.
I am personally grateful for the security team, because for several months I was the security team, setup/teardown team (with occasional volunteers), and cleanup team. I also had to occasionally teach Kids Sunday School, help with A/V, and even preach. That does not make for strong security. We finally got a man who saw the need, got extra training, and now we have a good team in place. (We also have teams for everything else, though I help in several areas still.) I get updates and questions from the team, but I can sit more on Sundays. We certainly live in a dangerous world, but God is good and has His people equipped.

This Sunday at Church I want to encourage you to do the following: If your church has a church security team let the pastor know you are grateful.
A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.
John 10:10, CSB
God wants to give us all good things according to His will, while those who oppose God restrict, mar, and damage what should be good. God offers life and the ability to truly desire what is truly good and to promote goodness.
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
