This Sunday at Church: Train your kids to learn to listen to others

My wife (our Children’s Director) and I (the Youth Pastor) regularly tell the the children/teens that we listen when others are speaking because it honors the God who listens to our prayers and needs, it honors God by honoring His image in others, it honors God and others by loving our neighbor, and (at least at church) it honors God and others so that others may hear the most important message: the Gospel.

This can be true in class, during the sermon, and anywhere else in the world.

Ephesians 3:20‭-‬21, ESV

God promises us peace, strength, and power – more than we even think to ask for, by filling us with His Holy Spirit – to endure this world and share the truth of the Gospel.
