Scripture prophesied Christ. Christ prophesied His death and resurrection.

We can trust His promises. They are forever, and He is coming again.

The Bible points us to Christ, helps us grow in Christ, and helps us lead others in and for Christ.

We think we have complete control over our lives, but natural and man-made disasters, illnesses, and accidents remind us that we have very little control.

Knowing God is in control helps to calm us and be the calming help of someone going through one of those emergencies, for His glory

Money and things are not bad, but they can distract us from the One who blesses us with those things.

Trust in God alone who can and does meet our needs.

Knowing that God is our Creator and the one who molds us should give us confidence that He knows what is best and how to guide our lives.
