VerseD: 1 Samuel 2:2

“There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.”

May we praise our God, our foundation of life, love, and grace, the Only One we can and should trust, who alone saves us.

VerseD: Isaiah 26:4

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

We cannot get through this life alone, and we must change our thinking to acknowledge our need for God. He is the foundation of Creation, especially our life, so may we seek and trust in Him.

Give us this day our daily bread

Matthew 6:11, ESV

Jesus showed us He is our God, calling Himself the Bread of Life who provides all our needs.

Trust the Lord, and He will give us eternal life and all our other needs.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

With how crazy and upsetting this life and world can be, we know we can have peace in God thanks to the death and resurrection of Jesus and the Holy Spirit who fills us.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Many things in this life can frighten and intimidate us, but we can turn to our sovereign, omnipotent, loving God who redeems us and comforts us.

VerseD: 1 Peter 5:7

casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Crucify your worries, trusting in the One who cared enough to take them on Himself on the cross. Most worries come from trusting in anything but God.

Trust God.

VerseD: Psalm 8:3-4

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

We like to think highly of ourselves, yet this vast universe reminds us how insignificant we are.

And yet God still loves us and has made a way for us to be with Him when we trust in the work of Christ.

VerseD: John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6, ESV

All truth must be filtered through Christ. This especially means the spiritual. We are only granted eternal life through believing in, obeying, and trusting Christ.

VerseD: John 8:12

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8:12, ESV

By ourselves, we are cut off from the light of truth, but Jesus has shone into the world to overcome our blindness and ignorance.

See Him. Trust in Him.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

The most verifiable truth of history is that our faithful God sacrificed His only Son for us.

We can trust in His goodness and verity (truth).
