No matter what life brings, God is in control. It is best to trust Him and live by His leading as found in the Bible, by the Holy Spirit, and with help from the Church.

VerseD: Psalm 139:13-14

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

We are saved in Christ alone, and as God He knows us beyond intimately, better than we know ourselves. He is our Creator and Savior and worthy of all love and praise.

even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

God takes care of us, so that even if we are in dire situations or die, He can save us by His might right hand in the name of Jesus Christ.

VerseD: Psalm 139:11-12

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.

Our God is omnipotent and omniscient, knowing and capable of all things. Nothing surprises Him, and He controls all things. Trust in God.

VerseD: Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

People may know we’re Christians, but they may not understand the difference between repentance and hypocrisy. May we be a people who truly seek God to change us and bring us to repentance.

We don’t know our own bodies as much as we might like to think we do.

God, however, knows us intimately – mind, body, soul – and we have been called by Him to know Him.

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Our God lives in us by the Holy Spirit, so He knows us intimately and more than we know ourselves. He works in us to make us more Christ-like, revealing our sinfulness and leading us in repentance.

No matter what we go through, our God is right there with us, caring for us and protecting us.

Our God knows us, inside and out, and is the One who is mighty to save and lead us in the way everlasting.

Our God made us. He wrote our DNA and formed us. How much does He deserve our praise? Should we not want to strive to serve Him faithfully?
