When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

Isaiah 43:2, ESV

God can save us from anything, but He protects and leads us especially through the persecutions of this world and from the flames of eternal torment.

Trust in the Son.

VerseD: Matthew 5:44

“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”

Our Lord will deal with those who persecute the Church and the one who attacks the faithful, especially when He returns. He will hold His faithful in His faithfulness until then.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 4:7-9

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
2 Corinthians 4:7‭-‬9, ESV

We have the true gospel that saves, therefore we can endure a disbelieving world that taunts, mocks, beats, and kills us until Christ’s return.

VerseD: James 1:12

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12, ESV

God grants us wisdom and strength to endure persecution, problems, and pains. All we have to do is ask, the Holy Spirit empowers, and we bring glory to God with the hope of eternity helping us even more.

VerseD: 1 Peter 3:13

Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
1 Peter 3:13, ESV

Obeying Christ makes our day-to-day life easier, by and large, yet it may also lead to persecution from non-Christians.

Be ready. Do good. Know Scripture. Draw near to God.
