Light can be blocked but not overcome.
Many in our world may feel Christianity is dying or being done away with, but Christ cannot be overcome. He wins in the end!
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21, ESV
How many ways can it be said?
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Love your enemies.
If your brother sins against you, forgive him.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When Paul wrote his epistles (letters), he was drawing on God’s Word (our Old Testament).
In Christ, we no longer fear death, punishment for sin, nor anything this world may do to us, for He has overcome.
