VerseD: Proverbs 18:10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

We trust in the only name that can save us from our sins and shame, that will finally one day destroy evil and pain: Jesus.

VerseD: Romans 10:13

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

In Jesus’ name alone are we saved from our sin and offered eternal life.

VerseD: Romans 5:8

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

How wonderful is our God and Savior?
How much should we share God’s love for us by showing this world He sent His Son to die for us?

VerseD: John 1:29

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29, ESV

John the Baptist recognized Jesus as our sacrifice and Shepherd, our Lord and Friend.
Like John, w should proclaim the Son of God who has redeemed us from our sin, who has come and is coming again!

VerseD: Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2, ESV

When the troubles and temptations of this world seem great, we know that our God is greater and is helping and defending us.

I will say to the Lord , “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:2, ESV

Show the world where your hope lies: consciously choose to trust in the Lord who came and died to save us from sin and death, and the world will want the peace and joy that will flow through.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
Deuteronomy 6:5, ESV

We pray, seeking God.
We read Sripture, thinking about God.
We work diligently, obeying God.
We share His Gospel, loving God by loving others.

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

A Day is coming when there will no longer be a choice: either we worship our Savior or are forced to recognize the truth of His Lordship.
Choose today to call on the name of the Lord  and worship in truth and love.

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

God can do all things in and through us, so seek our Lord and Creator who strengthens and sustains us by His Spirit.

VerseD: Romans 10:9

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

It takes knowing and believing that Christ has taken our sin and is Lord over life and death to be saved, and it should drive us to share the news with all people!
