VerseD: Ephesians 4:29

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

We don’t have to fear what we sat if we’re in the habit of speaking well, and we have the Word to guide us.

VerseD: Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12, ESV

We fear what others may say or do to us, but God’s Word can cut much deeper and reveal more about us than anything or anyone in this world. But He also can heal and restore us better than any other.

Let us trust in Him.

VerseD: Romans 5:3-5

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

We need not fear what this life does to us, for we know that as we pursue Him, God uses our circumstances to make us more like Jesus, living inside us by the Holy Spirit who gives us the hope of eternal life free from sin and pain.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

We don’t have to live in fear, knowing that God has defeated Satan and the lower of this world through the cross.

VerseD: 2 Timothy 1:7

for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7, ESV

We should not fear those in this world nor even death, for our God has given us power over death and the Spirit to help us love this world and show self-control, even in the midst of chaos.

VerseD: Proverbs 29:25

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

When we are afraid of what people might say or do to us, we fall in the trap of thinking they as if they are greater than God. No matter what this world does to us, we can know we are eternally safe in Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

The devil tries to convince us we’re failures, and the world mocks our faith, but God uses our faithfulness to lead others to Christ or heap judgment on others. Continue to honor God with your life.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

James 1:2‭-‬3, ESV

The devil goes after those who grow in Christ, so rejoice that God allows him to attack as it shows you are growing in faith and faithfulness with the help of our faithful God.

I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

The world will tell us we are meaningless accidents, and the devil will have us focus on being animate dirt. Yet, we know God has made us in His image, giving us value and purpose. We can trust our Creator.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

The world will tell we are all we need. The devil will try to convince us we can save ourselves. Only in Jesus can we be saved, and only God can accomplish anything.
