We walk through this life knowing God is with us by the indwelling Holy Spirit. He helps us overcome temptations and fleshly desires as we seek Him.

For the Christian, God is with us always by His Holy Spirit, and as we rely on Him in every circumstance He sustains us.

Our God lives in us by the Holy Spirit, so He knows us intimately and more than we know ourselves. He works in us to make us more Christ-like, revealing our sinfulness and leading us in repentance.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

The world will tell we are all we need. The devil will try to convince us we can save ourselves. Only in Jesus can we be saved, and only God can accomplish anything.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Our sovereign God knows our weaknesses and understands our temptations, and He helps us overcome them without forcing us by His Holy Spirit.

We try to live our own life, but Christ calls us to live for and like Him. He can sovereignly control us, yet He guides us by His Holy Spirit when we trust in Him.

When we submit ourselves to the will of God, the Holy Spirit empowers us to fully resist the devil, God Himself rebuking Satan with His own Word and power.
