VerseD: Matthew 6:25

God wants to take care of us. Not like prosperity preachers teach, but in meeting our daily needs. We need less than we realize, and God knows best what we need.
Seek Him.

VerseD: John 14:1

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”
John 14:1, ESV

Do you focus more on your problems or on Christ and His promises? Do you believe God is greater than your problems? Do you trust Christ?

VerseD: Psalm 46:1-2

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea
Psalm 46:1‭-‬2, ESV

Our God is always with us. The very same God who told us the tiniest faith could move those mountains we fear the moving of. (Matthew 17:20; 21:21)

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Our world is crazy and wicked.
But we can remember that God is in control and has a plan.
Wait on the Lord. Trust Him.

VerseD: Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:16, ESV

God’s power was manifest is raising our Savior to life. His power is manifested in every believer who is washed clean of their sins.

VerseD: Matthew 18:3-5

and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me”

Children often admit they need help and know they don’t know everything.
Approach Christ this way.
We don’t know how deep our sin is or how salvation works, but we need Christ to save us.

VerseD: Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28, ESV

Stress, worry, anxiety, fear, trying to be strong or a leader …
Give it to Jesus, our Good Shepherd and strong Savior. Trust Him to guide you, give you peace and strength, and to get you through.

VerseD: John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16, ESV

To be saved from sin and God’s wrath, we must believe that Jesus is the perfect Son of God who died for our sins and rose again to life.
There is no other way to eternal life.

Give us this day our daily bread
Matthew 6:11, ESV

We trust and ask God to give us just enough for the day, that we may trust Him, depend on Him, and glorify Him.

VerseD: Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4, ESV

Whatever happens around us, we can know – as Christians – that our Lord is watching over us, correcting us, and protecting us. Even in affliction, we can find comfort and peace in Christ.
