Jesus Christ is our eternal God and High Priest who presents us to the Father, because He was our faithful Savior who understands us.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

God is omnipotent and omniscient because He is outside of space and time, yet He came into time as one of us to show that power. He may have taken on a physical body, but His essence and majesty never changed. We can trust in Jesus.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

We see an eternal, All-powerful, personal, loving God from the very beginning. He didn’t need to create us, but He did. Perfectly. And He has a plan.

Trust in Him.

For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.

Our eternal God also became a man who lived, was killed, and rose again. And He is returning to us.

The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.

It takes humility to admit we’re wrong and need help. Until we can do that, we’re under God’s wrath. When we admit our need for God, He honors us with forgiveness, life, and the glory offered through His Son.

as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

We give thanks and all praise to our God who left His eternal home to take on a physical body for our forgiveness and redemption.

Let us trust in and proclaim the name of Christ.

We seek youth, the miraculous, and freedom from death and decay. Only God can do any of these, and He proved it through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

People strive for a fountain of youth or some ways to prolong life, but it is only by the name of Jesus our Lord that we can find eternal life and forgiveness and everlasting love.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Christ suffered for us, our God dying as one of us to forgive us and redeem us.

When we believe this, we know that any sufferings we have now will pale in comparison to eternity with Him.

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.

Beyond the things of this life, our own sin can cause us worry and fear (anxiety). Thankfully, God sent Jesus to save us from our sin and the Holy Spirit to give us hope for eternal peace.
