VerseD: Psalm 103:13

As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.

A loving father helps their kids as they learn and grow.
We never could have learned or grown enough to earn salvation, but our heavenly Father made a way for us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

VerseD: Nahum 1:7

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.
Nahum 1:7, ESV

Natural Man rebels against God and His Word, which also means against His People. We can take comfort knowing He warned us and promised to be with us.

VerseD: 1 Peter 4:16

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
1 Peter 4:16, ESV

If you are doing the good works of God and experiencing the persecution of others, take joy in knowing that you suffer as our Lord suffered. And that could bring others to saving faith in Christ.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Look for the good and beautiful in all circumstances and things and people. God created us and is in control of history. Finding the good keeps us focused on Him and reminds us to be patient and share the Gospel with others.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:3‭-‬4, ESV

Firstly, we are comforted knowing we are saved through Christ, so we can offer the comfort to others that they too can be saved.
Knowing this, we can offer comfort, even suffering ourselves, knowing the great rest to come.
Perspective changes everything.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

Most people speak from what they think they know. Let us remember to show grace as we speak the truth, speaking to sin-corrupted minds and souls.
May God grant us the grace and opportunities to bring others to know the truth.

Where you focus your thoughts determines how you act.
Do you focus in earthly pleasures or worldly woes?
Or do you focus on God, His Word, and our eternal destination?

All we have against God are lame excuses and our own ideas. Therefore, we conform our thoughts and base our reasoning on the Word of God.

Our God is a God of miracles. Ask Him to stretch out His mighty hand and do what seems impossible, and see what He may do.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

Our God provides all of our needs, especially our eternal salvation through Jesus Christ. This salvation is something to experience, and this by believing the Word, the Bible.
