Delight yourself in the Lord , and he will give you the desires of your heart.

As we draw near to God more and more, our desire becomes more and more for God. (But He also likes giving us gifts!)

God has done all things well: Creation, Redemption, and Renewal of His people (and eventually all of Creation) especially.
Give thanks to God for His great works.

The world promises lack of conflict (and rarely delivers even that.)
Christ gives us inner peace by His Holy Spirit, peace between each other (as we seek Him), and peace between us and God by His blood.
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Luke 6:45, ESV
No one is truly good apart from Christ. All we do and say is tainted by our sinful nature.
In Christ, we are made clean and clothed in righteousness, able to do truly good works.
The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple

The Bible shows us our sinfulness, our means of salvation, and the reality and greatness of our God.
Believe the words the Holy Spirit led men to write.
