God is good and has adopted us through Christ, and we are called to call others to see His goodness and become sons and daughters of God.

VerseD: Galatians 3:28

There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male and female; since you are all one in Christ Jesus.

God has adopted us into the goodness of His Son, and when God looks at us He sees Jesus.

VerseD: Deuteronomy 11:18

“Imprint these words of mine on your hearts and minds, bind them as a sign on your hands, and let them be a symbol  on your foreheads.”

God has told us what is good and expects us to follow, and He proved His love by adopting us through the blood of Christ. Now, we imprint His goodness on our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit because of the imprints of the nails on Christ’s hands amd thorns on His head.

The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever.”

God has told what is good and that He has adopted us through the blood of His Son, and we know that His promises are eternal.

And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Christ has adopted us as His own by His blood, and He equips each of us for reaching this fallen world with His love.

VerseD: Galatians 4:4-5

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

God has shown His love through Jesus, coming at just the right time as a human so that He could redeem us through His life, death, and resurrection. He has adopted us through Christ and sealed us with His Spirit.

VerseD: Psalm 105:5-6

Remember the wondrous works he has done,
his wonders, and the judgments he has pronounced,
you offspring of Abraham his servant,
Jacob’s descendants—his chosen ones.

God is worthy of all praise for all the good things He has done for us, and when we are found in Christ we are true sons of Abraham. Praise God for the grace found in Jesus.

VerseD: Hebrews 12:7-8

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

Many of the problems we face in life come from our own bad decisions, but God uses those situations to help us overcome this world and grow in the likeness of Christ. This discipline should give us hope, knowing that it means we are His children through the blood of Christ.

VerseD: 1 John 3:1

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

People may be able to know we are Christians, but they may not know the truth of being God’s adopted children through Christ. We still show them God’s love.

VerseD: Hebrews 12:11

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

We don’t like to think we deserve to endure pain nor discipline, but our sin does lead to it. And God uses the events in our life to discipline us (grow and mature us) in Christ as His adopted sons (and daughters).
