VerseD: 2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15, ESV

Do we interpret the Bible and the Gospel to benefit our lives now, or do we see the need to faithfully interpret for the benefit and salvation of others?

Do we read it merely as about how great we are or as about how great God is and the world’s need for His truth?

VerseD: Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Romans 1:16, ESV

It is one thing to be shy, but to deny the truth of the Gospel is to deny the God who loves us enough to become one of us and suffer and die for us.

VerseD: Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20‭-‬21, ESV

God promises us peace, strength, and power – more than we even think to ask for, by filling us with His Holy Spirit – to endure this world and share the truth of the Gospel.

VerseD: Romans 10:17

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Romans 10:17, ESV

Saving faith comes from knowing the Gospel: we are all sinners, yet Jesus – God in the flesh – came to live a perfect life and die for our forgiveness and then arose again to life.

Hire can we be saved if we are never told the Gospel?

Share it with all.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 10:5

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ

2 Corinthians 10:5, ESV

True wisdom and knowledge come from God, so everything that denies or contradicts God is clearly false.

Christ proved His deity through His death and resurrection, and we therefore focus on Him.

VerseD: Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Proverbs 18:21, ESV

Are you better at encouraging or discouraging, building up or tearing down with your words?

Do you share biblical, spiritual truths or focus on worldly and even sinful talk?

Do you spread love or hate?

VerseD: Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6, ESV

In general, children remember things they have been taught, and wise and practical things tend to stick.

How much more then should we show and tell the truths of God?

VerseD: Hosea 6:6

For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
Hosea 6:6, ESV

So many of us strive to give up something or do something for God, yet He wants us to know Him and make Him known.
Read the Word and spread the Gospel.

VerseD: Colossians 4:6

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Colossians 4:6, ESV

We ought to be more kind to those outside the Church, for they are lost, just as Jesus spoke kindly to lost sinners. May they see our gratitude for a kind Savior through our kindness yet firmness on truth.

VerseD: Matthew 28:6

He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.
Matthew 28:6, ESV

Christianity is the only religion with a founder who died but came back to life forever.
Take comfort in the Truth.
