We do not understand God, the salvation He offers, the power He offers, or eternity. But when we believe in Christ’s work and grace, we get a taste when the Holy Spirit fills us.

In a whirls of craziness and sin and mistakes, we know Christ has come to redeem us and gives us the Holy Spirit and the Church. We have hope and help to get through this life and into the next.

We fail. Sometimes the world is too harsh. Yet God came to us to free us from sin and heartache, and He empowers us with the Holy Spirit to overcome failure, shame, and pain and to have hope for eternity.

We try to do our own thing, but God has shown us the proper way, coming Himself to teach us the truth and empowering us with the Holy Spirit to live in this truth.

We want to believe our own truths, but God calls us to follow Him alone and empowers us to believe and follow. Wait on the Lord’s truth and power.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

We tend to fall into habits and temptations that bind and control us, but God fills us when we believe in Christ, giving us freedom to serve Him and love others.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit

God came to us to give us hope and life, not by anything we have done but by His power and grace. And He dwells in us to make us clean and clothed in His righteousness.

God came to us in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, and now He offers us to draw near and trust in Him as the only hope for eternal life and help in this life.

God came to us to show us how to love, and, when we believe, He calls us friends and brothers. Let us love His Church to show we love Him.
