Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
Psalm 95:6, ESV
We should bow down and worship our sovereign Creator, knowing He has saved us through the cross.
but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.
Psalm 147:11, ESV
We may not be able to see God in this lost and broken world, but He reaches down to those who seek Him and to obey and love Him in this life, giving us hope for His imminent return.

God has revealed Himself and His standard for our lives in Scripture, and He demonstrated it by coming to us as one of us. May we seek this God and serve Him well, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Let us give thanks to our God who has saved us, gives us hope for eternal life, and empowers us to love all until we get there.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

God is all that is good, and, though we have messed up this world, He still brought His goodness to us in Jesus. By the Holy Spirit when we believe in Christ, we now have His goodness in us and a hope for eternity.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

We fail. Sometimes the world is too harsh. Yet God came to us to free us from sin and heartache, and He empowers us with the Holy Spirit to overcome failure, shame, and pain and to have hope for eternity.

We want to believe our own truths, but God calls us to follow Him alone and empowers us to believe and follow. Wait on the Lord’s truth and power.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

When our faith is in Christ, God sends the Holy Spirit to show us that He can take all our worries and fears, that He can strengthen us and make us bold and resolute, faithful in His power.

There is one God, and He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. He has given us His Holy Spirit to guide us in truth and worship as we carry His Name into the world.
