but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31, CSB
A life of holiness relies on Christ in all things, finding it possible to love others, to be patient and strong even when weary and seemingly alone. He is always with us and empowering us.
It is interesting that I had to face some church politics that has left some people upset and hurt, when I should probably be the most upset and hurt. I have seen the situation as God’s moving, and the love I have had for this congregation only proves God’s faithfulness and holiness. All that to say, I needed it, too!
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
