Just as Israel walked away and God – through disciplining them in the wilderness and then the Exile – was faithful and brought them home, He may discipline us to drive out our sin and make us more like Christ.

To few Christians can explain the Gospel.
Yet, it is the preaching of the Gospel that saves souls.
Stop. Read and know the Gospel.
Go. Share the Gospel.

Love is sacrificing for others. Your time, your energy, your possessions, your dignity, even your life.
For God. For others. Even for those who hate you.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We make mistakes. We have sinned against God and others.
But He has redeemed and forgiven us. We are no longer bound to what and who we were. We serve Him to glorify Him. Our past can help, not hinder.
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

Christ made peace between us and God.
Therefore, we should make peace with others in this world, as much as possible (without compromising the Gospel).

While we should not only turn to God in times of distress, do not forget how much he wants to help! His wisdom, peace, and strength will get you through.
