Jesus came to defeat death and overcome the ways of this world, and now He empowers us to share this truth with the world, bringing others along to believe this.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

Temptations and persecutions come to God’s faithful, but God is on our side.

Let us pray for all those who face persecution daily, and lift up those under spiritual attack daily.

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

God seems closest to us when we are at our lowest, usually because we are finally willing to listen and notice He has been showing Himself to us the whole time.

This world can be overwhelming, but Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit that His peace may fill and comfort us.

With all that can happen in this world, we can expect persecution and problems. But out hope and strength is in Christ, who defeated the grave and the devil.

There are many things that can scare us or give us anxiety in this world, yet we can remember that our Lord has warned us they would come, He went through worse, and He is with us until He returns to remove all those things for ever.

Our God can handle anything, because He is ultimately in control of everything.

Fall in His arms and trust His strength in every thing that comes your way.
