VerseD: 1 Timothy 4:12

Age means little in the Kingdom of God. We are all called to seek God, study His Word, live righteously in the power of the Holy Spirit, and bring others along in Christ.

VerseD: Ephesians 1:17

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him

Ephesians 1:17, ESV

We have access to the power and wisdom of God the Father through the Holy Spirit when we are found clothed in the righteousness of the Son.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

The world hates us, and we are harder on ourselves than anyone else knowing how often we fall short.

But our loving God is full of grace and mercy, moving our shame to Christ on the cross, freeing us and clothing us in righteousness.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age

We like to do what we want.

God calls us to live for others, seeking His righteousness and loving others like Jesus, turning from our selfish ways to Spirit-led life.

VerseD: John 15:4-5

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Apart from Christ, we can’t do any truly good things. Only in Christ are we capable of truly good works, His righteousness infusing us and flowing through us.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,” said Jesus. He satisfies us spiritually foremost, yet He meets all our needs.

VerseD: Isaiah 55:6-7

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

When our focus is on God, it leads others to possibly seek Him in this life while they can, turning from sin to God because of His light in us.

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.

We know God’s love for us because He calls us to the pursuit of righteousness, and as we seek He gives us eternal life and righteousness through His Son.

VerseD: Romans 3:25

whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

We know God’s love for us because only He is righteous, yet He died for our unrighteousness.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

We want to change the world, but it only happens when we seek the kingdom and righteousness of God in our own life and let Him move through us.
