Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!
Psalm 105:1, ESV
We give thanks to God for what He has done, and in our gratitude we tell the world of His faithfulness and forgiveness.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart.

God’s commandments are based on His nature and for our good, shining the light of His goodness into our world. We obey to show our love for the freedom He gives us and to spread His light in our dark world.

People may know we’re Christians, but they may not understand the difference between repentance and hypocrisy. May we be a people who truly seek God to change us and bring us to repentance.
