God showed His love by sending Jesus to become human like us, and He knew need and loss like the rest of us. We have a God who understands what wr go through, because of His love.

“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

God’s love is shown in Jesus becoming a human, through childbirth, to save us from our sins.

VerseD: Isaiah 7:14

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14, ESV

We find joy in Christ, our God who became one of us. He came as a baby, but He grew into a man who took our sin and shame to draw us into relationship with God. Let us rejoice!

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Just the name of God can save, and He has. Let us show our thankfulness by sharing that salvation and love with others that they may worship God in thankfulness, too.

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

Just the name of God can save, and thankfully His love has been given to us through the Son sacrificing Himself for our salvation. Let us thank Him by sharing this love and forgiveness.

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Just the name of God can save us, and Jesus’ name we are forgiven. Let us show our thankfulness for His grace by extending that forgiveness and love to others.

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation

Just the name of God can save us. Let us be thankful for the salvation offered in Christ, and let us show that thankfulness by obeying the command to share that salvation.

Just the name of God is enough to save us, and at His word we are saved. Trust in the Word made flesh, this Jesus who came to save us, giving thanks for His grace and truth.

Trust God. Trusting God looks like loving the Church, even when she mistreats Her own. Love them with Christ’s love.

God moves in and with us, guiding us and strengthening us, and the primary way He does this is by the Holy Spirit through His Church. Trust Him and be with His people.
