VerseD: 1 John 3:16

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
1 John 3:16, ESV

VerseD: Matthew 6:19

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal”

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Do not merely test God. He says to earnestly seek Him, and, when you call to Him in faith believing Jesus is His Son who died for you, He will answer in ways you do not know.

Walk with Him. Talk with Him.

VerseD: Isaiah 54:10

For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:10, ESV

The Lord proved His faithfulness by dying on the cross and rising again. He has said He is returning again, and all of the stars, mountains, and … everything will be removed and remade.

All to show His love.

Matthew 5:7, ESV

Our Lord has shown us mercy by dying in our place.

We can at least show mercy to our fellow fallen humans in response.
