God is love and desires to be with us, evidenced by His creating the universe and bringing illumination, both visually and spiritually. We are invited to join in the work of showing others His light.
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”
Luke 19:10, CSB
God is love and desires to be with us, even becoming one of us to die for our sins. When we believe this, we are then sent to join His work of seeking others to lead them to this faith.
“What do you think? If someone has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, won’t he leave the ninety-nine on the hillside and go and search for the stray?”

God should be our source of hope, joy, and peace. We can have these knowing He seeks us, He saves us, and He protects us.
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
John 16:13, ESV
When we are found in Christ, we have access to all the wisdom and truth of God through the indwelling Holy Spirit.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him
Ephesians 1:17, ESV
We have access to the power and wisdom of God the Father through the Holy Spirit when we are found clothed in the righteousness of the Son.
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Isaiah 55:6-7, ESV
When our focus is on God, it leads others to possibly seek Him in this life while they can, turning from sin to God because of His light in us.
