The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit goes beyond sealing us for eternal life, for He is within us is to proclaim the gospel boldly to others.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit in us to not merely to save us but to also work through us to share the gospel with others.
For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.

This life is all we have, and we must follow God and live by the Spirit, coming out of fear of death and the opinions of others (and ourselves) and of God’s judgment to walk in His power and wisdom.
In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

God came to us, and from the moment of faith in Christ’s work on the cross indwells us by the Holy Spirit and empowers us to shine His light through good works and the sharing of the gospel.

The opposite of love is fear, and God became one of us to restore the relationship between humanity and God. We know we are His friends when we not only believe in Christ but trust that He will fulfill His promises in this life and for the next, being able to not fear but face all this lofe has.

God told the Prophets that He was coming, and He came born as the person of Jesus of Nazareth who then promised to send the Holy Spirit. After defeating the power of sin, He now empowers us to fight sin and evil by dwelling inside us until His return.
