Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

As the Church, we should pray and mourn with those who suffer and celebrate and sing with those who are happy.
It shows God’s love and compassion with all people.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Matthew 18:20, ESV
Jesus was talking about church discipline. If the outside world sees evil happening in the Church, they are driven away from Jesus. If they see sin dealt with, they see Jesus’ hatred of sin and grace.
Let us hold each other accountable in Christ.
Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

We help each other grow in Christ through mutual support of works and God’s Word.

Let us remember to encourage and love on those we cannot see often or at all, from new believers to those who have walked for decades.
