VerseD: Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Matthew 28:19, ESV

God changes us, but how will He change others if we do not obey His command to make disciples?
Good use us to bring change to the world.

VerseD: Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We war against our sinful desires, but our lives have been redeemed by Christ who dwells within us and fights for by His Holy Spirit.

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.

Following Christ will lead to other people mistreating, mocking, or doing worse to us. We remember that this is how they treated Jesus our Lord, so we thank God that we are joined with Him in His plan of redemption of this world.

VerseD: Proverbs 16:3

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3, ESV

More than asking Him to bless our plans, committing our work to God is agreeing with what He has planned for us in this life.

VerseD: Isaiah 55:1-2

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.”
Isaiah 55:1‭-‬2, ESV

We should drink mightily of the water of the Holy Spirit, the fountain of Life,  and eat abundantly of the Word, reading Scripture and partaking in the Son of God, all to the glory of the Father.

VerseD: Psalm 139:13-14

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

Our God created us, so we know that from conception into death and beyond He knows us and is capable of all things to and through us by His Holy Spirit.

VerseD: Psalm 24:10

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah

We can rest in the knowledge and hope that God is our sovereign King who controls the universe and has pardoned our sins through Christ.

VerseD: Matthew 5:7

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”
Matthew 5:7, ESV

With the difficulties of life, when we show mercy to a hurting world lashing out at each other, they can see the hope of Christ’s mercy through us.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 4:18

as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18, ESV

It is clear that things in this life (and universe) don’t last forever, but we have a hope for eternity because of Christ’s death and resurrection.

VerseD: Isaiah 55:6-7

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord , that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7, ESV

God has not abandoned us. We abandoned Him. We have until Christ’s return to repent of our sinfulness and put our faith in the One who has continued to seek after us.
