We must realize that only by God’s grace can we inherit eternal life. May we seek His face and grace, meeting regularly with fellow believers as we study His Word and pray unceasingly.

We can strive to be good on our own, but it takes the Son of Man who died for our sins to find eternal life.

This Sunday at Church: Honor those who have served at Church for years

It seems some people are content to just help things keep moving along smoothly, even without recognition. Sometimes they are seen as less vital, less important, but all saints are valued and important!

On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

We may not be perfect nor able to attain perfection on our own, but clothing ourselves in Christ clothes us in His perfection and empowers us to combat the evils of this world and their god.

God has a standard, a perfect way He expects us to live. Not choosing to follow leads to pain and death. Accepting we can never attain perfection on our own, we turn to the Perfect One who made a way for us.

God is always watching over us. We may not find full peace and safety in this life, but He protects us through the blood of Christ from the coming wrath.

When we live according to God’s will, we will be successful. It may not be the the success we expect, but being established in God makes everything work for His glory.

God is far above us in every regard, it is best to simply trust Hin and His Word to guide us in this life and have hope for the next.

We have faith in the Faithful One, which gives us hope for the present and future because of His love, and we share that love with others.
