VerseD: Psalm 31

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!

We begin with praise for God, and then we see that we are able to face anything in this life, knowing He is with us, He has a plan, and He will fulfill His promises.

VerseD: John 5:24

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

John 5:24, ESV

We praise God for making us, for saving us, for giving us life.

We can only praise if we believe Jesus – the perfect Son, truly God and truly man, the sinless substitute who died for our sin and physically rose again – has taken our penalty and led us into eternal life.

VerseD: Isaiah 41:13

For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

Isaiah 41:13, ESV

Our Creator does not leave us on our own. Trust in Him, and give Him praise for His strength, love, and compassion. Circumstances will not overwhelm you, and fears will flee.

VerseD: Philippians 4:6

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

We can trust that our God made us with a plan. Let us get over anxieties in life by praising the One who made us and saves us, then we can feel free to ask for His help in all things.

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Revelation 4:11, ESV

Everything and everyone exists and has being because God chose to create.

Let us praise our Creator and give our lives to Him.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

James 5:13, ESV

Jesus gave us the example of continuous prayer and worship. May we join Him with our petitions and praise, seeking the lost and celebrating His goodness.

VerseD: Psalm 59:16

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.

Sometimes it can feel difficult to worship God, but, if we diligently search the Scripture and remember His goodness, we can find it easier to praise our Creator, Protector, and Healer.

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!

If God is truly God, then we must praise Him for Creation and sustaining all things all the time. We must stop thinking strictly of “the natural way of things” and recognize His sovereign Hand in everything.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Our God has shown His love for us. Let us worship Him by moving each other, by loving His Church.

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Matthew 6:34, ESV

We can know that we have hope for eternal life, and that can give us strength for today. Let us worship God for giving us strength and hope.
