Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

God showed His goodness and love through the cross. We should always be thankful for our salvation.
Delight yourself in the Lord , and he will give you the desires of your heart.

As we draw near to God more and more, our desire becomes more and more for God. (But He also likes giving us gifts!)

Why do we share the Gospel? We trust that God is in control and will one day dwell with His people on a new Earth.
This is our hope and peace.

Is our heart’s desire to be with God? Trials, troubles, and challenges should draw us closer to Him, for He is our only hope and strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

When the troubles and temptations of this world seem great, we know that our God is greater and is helping and defending us.
