God wants to change this world for His glory and our good. He calls us to go in His name.

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

We give up our old life when coming to Christ, and that means trusting that God has a good plan for our lives that is better than what we may have planned.

We give up our old life when we come to Christ, a lofe led by evil choices and following the ways of Satan. In Christ we have true life and peace.

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

We give up our old life when we come to Christ, and we are given new life through the Holy Spirit because of faith in His death and resurrection.

We give up our old life when we put our faith in Christ, and this includes actually trusting God with all our problems rather than merely trying to solve all of our own problems and worries.

We give up our old life when coming to Christ, and that can include our plans.  Our ultimate goal in Christ is to know Christ and make Him known in the world.

We give up our old life when we come to Christ, living by the desires and leadings of the Holy Spirit rather than our own.

The cost of following Christ is dying to self everyday, but the rewards are eternal life and the Spirit guiding and moving through us in amazing ways that bless others as well.

The cost of following Jesus is admitting we need help this world cannot offer and to love in ways we do not understand. We need to get over ourselves and have Christ in us to make us pure and good.
