VerseD: 1 Peter 5:10

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

1 Peter 5:10, ESV

What peace and joy we can find in our daily lives and when facing the problems of life knowing that our God has chosen us and will bring us to His side in eternity.

VerseD: Isaiah 55:1-2

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.”

Isaiah 55:1‭-‬2, ESV

What peace we have knowing our Lord has promised and provides all our needs, especially salvation.

Let us feast on the promises and grace of God.

VerseD: John 15:5

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15:5, ESV

In Christ, all things are possible.

Even if that means merely getting out of bed in the morning, or sharing the gospel with someone, or doing something you’ve never done.

Mostly, we find peace with God. Live in Christ.

VerseD: Hebrews 12:14

Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

Hebrews 12:14, ESV

We are given a ministry of reconciliation by our Lord Jesus who reconciled us to God by His blood, setting us aside as His own.

VerseD: John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 14:26, ESV

The Holy Spirit empowers us to do God’s work and share His words:

In Christ’s authority we make disciples by teaching them to obey the commandments found in Scripture and the warning and hope of Christ’s return. (Matthew 28:18-20)

VerseD: James 1:22-24

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.

James 1:22‭-‬24, ESV

If we only read the Bible but never apply it to our own lives, or we merely apply it to others, we risk leading others away from Christ. We risk remaining lost.

VerseD: Matthew 3:8

Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.

Matthew 3:8, ESV

We show our salvation by the change, the difference in how we act and think. We don’t do good works to earn salvation, rather they are a sign that we are saved from sin and God’s wrath.

VerseD: 1 Corinthians 13:4

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

1 Corinthians 13:4, ESV

God loved us enough to humble Himself to die in our place.

We are saved by grace through faith, not by anything we do.

If we love God and others, we have no reason to boast of our gifts or salvation, so we humbly declare to others the love of Gkod.

VerseD: Romans 12:12

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Romans 12:12, ESV

Life may not go as we have planned, so we remember to seek God in prayer, trust Him in times of trouble and persecution, and live in the hope of Christ’s imminent return.

VerseD: Proverbs 16:9

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Proverbs 16:9, ESV

We may think we know what’s best for us, but God is moving our lives from behind the scenes. Sometimes He gives us what we want, and sometimes we’re happy with it.

The best thing is when He draws us to Jesus.
