Our God is sovereign over all. He can handle and do anything, and we can trust in Him. Give Him glory!
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

When we realize our God is sovereign over everything, that He has saved us from Condemnation and wrath, we can have true peace in knowing there is nothing He can’t handle and we have to do to be saved.
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
Matthew 16:24, ESV
We try to live our own life, but Christ calls us to live for and like Him. He can sovereignly control us, yet He guides us by His Holy Spirit when we trust in Him.
I happen to be presenting an outreach plan (among other plans) for our church. Our annual meeting is in a month, and we will be pushing more outreach work for our congregation.
It can be intimidating and even scary, but we know it is our calling as Christians. It is not as scary as dealing with an attack, but we must remember it may happen to us, too.

When we submit ourselves to the will of God, the Holy Spirit empowers us to fully resist the devil, God Himself rebuking Satan with His own Word and power.

The Christian faith is not merely a personal thing. It is a community and declaration to the world of Christ’s sovereignty and goodness, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to be in community and share that faith.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

Whatever will bring God glory and spread His love and grace, God will give us when we ask, and He gives us the Holy Spirit so that He can help us to know what to ask for.
