Apologetics and Secular Leftists Version of Tolerance

Over the years we see the increase hostility of the secular leftists against Christianity.   I remember sometime ago I wrote “Anti-Christian latest intolerance: Swiss Christian Chocolate Company.” I thought I share some thoughts related to this from an apologetics dimension with how this version of tolerance pushed by the elites today is intellectually bullet ridden.

When we are wrapped up in ourselves or the troubles of this world, we are easily made anxious. When we are focused on our sovereign God and His goodness and awesomeness, we can have peace knowing He has overcome the world and death.

We can have peace knowing that God is in complete control, and He has the power to remove our sins by the grace and blood of Jesus when we trust in Him.

VerseD: Genesis 2:2-3

‭And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

Our God is in complete control, having created the heavens and the earth and preparing to bring heaven to earth through us. We can therefore take His example and find rest and peace in Him, trusting that He is working all things for His purpose.

Versed: Isaiah 43:12-13

“I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and I am God. Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?”

Isaiah 43:12-13, ESV

The only thing we have to declare is that there is only the one, true God, who alone offers salvation through His Son. He draws us to Himself by the Holy Spirit, and His calling is forever!
