Remember: rarely do others attack us, rather they are attacking Christ. He can defend Himself. Show the love, kindness, and grace to others (even in church) that He has shown through Christ.
It is interesting this verse should come up during the same time we are discussing persecution of the Church. May we remind each other often of the joys of serving our Lord.
