Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.
Proverbs 21:21, ESV
Love of God and love of others. This is God’s expectation of everyone. Pursuing God will lead to Christ, our righteousness. His kindness should push us to show the same loving kindness to others.
As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him,
Titus 3:10, ESV
Some people only want to cause trouble. They gossip, demean, and mock, all in the guise of “prayer” and “accountability”.
Tell them stop, and if they refuse to listen avoid them (even to the point of kicking them out of the congregation).
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6, ESV
Faith in Jesus is the only way to get to heaven.
Believing in His death and resurrection is the only way to inherit eternal life.
Knowing and sharing this truth is the only way for a Christian to live.
