Prayer changes us to have more faith in what God can do. May we have the faith and seek more faith to believe God’s promises and power.
”And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12, ESV
We are changed when we are drawn to Christ, and it is in Him alone that we find eternal life and freedom.
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16, ESV
The Light of the world came to us, and when we believe in Him and His work on the cross He dwells in us to make us more like Him every day.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

We can’t truly know the eternal love of God with our fallen hearts and minds until we learn what it means to love Him with all of our heart, soul, and mind. The Holy Spirit is the one who renews and transforms our minds. Seek God and let him change you to love God.
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

We often feel like we should enact justice, but God moves in us to love others with His love. Sometimes this involves using us to bring justice, but we are reminded that He paid the price for justice and will return to fulfill all justice against wickedness.

Philippians 2:5 ESV
We think we know best, but the state of our world shows otherwise. Instead, when our faith is in Christ, we are given His Holy Spirit who helps transform our minds to think like Christ.

We give God praise, because He made us. We may have rebelled from Him, but He does not leave us to fend for ourselves. He helps us grow in knowledge and relationship with Him.

We want to change the world, but God calls us to start with our own hearts and minds, seeking His heart and mind in our lives.
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

Our inclination is to help ourselves or to help others to feel good about ourselves, but the Holy Spirit changes our thinking and inclinations to care more for others for God’s glory.

We are being transformed into Christ-likeness, wanting what He wants, doing what He wants to do in this world.
Rather than seeking out own glory and comfort, we should be seeking the glory of God while taking the gospel to the list of the world.
