VerseD: Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:7, ESV

Trusting the Lord brings the blessings of forgiveness, grace, a changed heart and mind, inner peace, and eternal life in Christ.

VerseD: James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
James 1:5 ESV

God desires that we each turn to Him for true wisdom, which is His righteousness in Christ.

Turn to Him today, and receive God’s wisdom.

VerseD: 2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
2 Peter 3:9, ESV

We only have this one life to choose Christ. God wants a populated eternity, not empty. He gives us this one time to turn to Him, so be grateful He has waited for you.

VerseD: Isaiah 55:6-7

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord , that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7, ESV

Today is the day of salvation. Once this life is over, there are no more chances to seek and call on the Lord.

Choose today to know God and be pardoned of all sins!

VerseD: Matthew 5:6

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”
Matthew 5:6, ESV

Those who truly want righteousness and justice find their full satisfaction in Jesus Christ alone.

VerseD: Psalm 119:105

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105, ESV

Our world, our lives, our walk with God all makes sense through Scripture, the Word of God. Only by it do we see the answer to evil, sin, and the need for a Savior.

And Who that Savior is.

VerseD: James 4:8

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:8, ESV

God is always near (omnipresent). Yet, we are more aware when we diligently seek His face through Bible reading, prayer, and fellowship with other Christians.

And only by Him are we made clean and can we think rightly.

VerseD: Jeremiah 29:13

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13, ESV

“When I have time …”

“After I do this …”

“I have so many other obligations …”

We wonder why we do not see God … when we refuse to make seeking Him a priority.

Make time for God every day.

VerseD: Proverbs 16:3

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3, ESV

Do not read this as “Make sure God is invoked in your work so that your plans work out.”

Start your plans by seeking God’s will, work diligently and faithfully with the help of God, and find success on God’s terms, not necessarily your own.

VerseD: Psalm 90:12

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Psalm 90:12, ESV

This is not about remembering birthdays and anniversaries (though, that is not bad.)

Rather, we should aware of God’s power and Christ’s immanent return to bring justice and peace.
