VerseD: Luke 11:13

“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

The greatest gift God gives us is Himself. The greatest gift we can give others is the Gospel, the good news that they can be saved from their sins and receive God Himself.

VerseD: 1 Thessalonians 5:15

See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

1 Thessalonians 5:15, ESV

We could never punish anyone like God can, nor can we forgive as fully as God.

Let His love and grace flow through you to all people, as He did for you through Jesus.

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.

Our only hope of salvation and eternal life is Jesus Christ. We can not earn it or find another way. Faith in His life, death, and resurrection is all there is.

VerseD: Romans 3:23-24

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus

Romans 3:23‭-‬24, ESV

No one is perfect nor obeys God perfectly, but through Jesus – the only perfect One – we get grace, forgiveness, and power to live for Him.

Let us take this good news to all.

VerseD: Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

God promises us peace, strength, and power – more than we even think to ask for, by filling us with His Holy Spirit – to endure this world and share the truth of the Gospel.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

As we seek God’s will and are conformed more to the image of Christ, we will want the things God wants. Everything we ask for will be what God wants.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Saving faith comes from knowing the Gospel: we are all sinners, yet Jesus – God in the flesh – came to live a perfect life and die for our forgiveness and then arose again to life.

Hire can we be saved if we are never told the Gospel?

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Salvation comes through faith in God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. To deny any of this is to reject God and His salvation.

Daily life can be hard, and a realization of our sin can weigh heavy on the heart and mind.

An encouraging word can change a bad day to a good day, and the Gospel can free us from shame and fear.

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ

True wisdom and knowledge come from God, so everything that denies or contradicts God is clearly false.

Christ proved His deity through His death and resurrection, and we therefore focus on Him.
