VerseD: 1 Samuel 2:2

“There is none holy like the Lord : for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.”
1 Samuel 2:2, ESV

God is set apart from all other creatures and things. None is like Him.

Likewise, though He is completely apart from us, He is ever present and near, holding us and supporting us. All creatures and all things (Hebrews 1:3).

VerseD: Isaiah 41:13

“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”
Isaiah 41:13 ESV

Trust God to work out everything in His time and His way. It may not look how we expect, so have faith that He is helping you. At the very least, ak for strength and wisdom, which He gives willingly and abundantly (James 1:5).

“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Deuteronomy 32:35), so do not retaliate in any way. Hold your tongue and hold back your hand.

In fact, turn the other cheek and forgive.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

We can learn much in life, the is no denying it. We can even make wise decisions.

But only by learning and knowing the truth of God can we be truly wise, for all truth and wisdom is found in and through Him.

VerseD: Colossians 4:5-6

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

Do not complain about the sins of non-believers. Do not berate non-believers nor treat them with disrespect.

Show love and grace. Speak kindly, but truthfully.

And remember: treat a wayward brother as a sinner (non-believer).

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

It is impossible to combat and defeat Satan apart from God. Continually drawing near to God is from where any power in our life comes.

Remember that God takes care of us in all circumstances, and we can find rest from our worries and anxieties.

VerseD: Philippians 4:6

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6, ESV

The easiest way to alleviate or even avoid stress and anxiety is to continually turn to God, thanking Him even for what makes us uncomfortable or brings us pain as well as the good.

Be careful what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself.

We see evidence of this verse throughout our culture today. How many people have to apologize for a quick response that is insensitive, rude, or flat out wrong?

VerseD: Romans 8:31

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31, ESV

When we are doing God’s work and living rightly, it does not matter what others say and do. We know we are justified, made right with God.

No one can take that from His people.
