VerseD: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13

We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

We all have spiritual authority over us, most importantly Christ. Let us respect them as they serve Christ and out of our love for Christ.

VerseD: Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

We agar the truth of the Gospel because we are not fighting against people. We are fighting against demonic powers and ideologies with the truth of God to save fellow image-bearers from the earth of God.
