“even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:28, ESV
God’s plan is the redemption of His people and this world, and Jesus not only redeemed us but at the example for us. We are to serve God by serving others, even to the point of laying down our lives to draw others to Christ’s redemption.
It’s a fairly common online assertion that the Bible is “fuLL oF cOnTraDicTioNs!” by those who are unfamiliar with the common mistakes that skeptics make when they make such claims. In a recent online discussion, a God-denier claimed that that Bible was full of contradictions. The principle assertion of contradiction was that Elijah ascended into Heaven (2 Kings 2:11) but Jesus claimed in John 3:13 that no one but the Son has ever ascended into Heaven
Before I begin the rebuttal, let the reader understand that God-deniers have no grounds for declaring anything to be contradictory. Unless one starts with the God, who has revealed Himself in creation, in the Bible, and in the incarnation, there is no possible justification for logic, knowledge, morality, or truth. Romans 10:17, ESV

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20, ESV
God has a plan, and we join that plan in Christ. We let His purpose become our purpose, sacrificing our desires as He transforms us into the likeness of the Son.
For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Praying more people would come to a Biblical view of the Preborn. This past week I’m sure we have seen a lot of so called Christians display views that does not acknowledge the personhood of the preborn. I think there’s a lot of teachings that needs […]
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
