We willing give up our sin, which means giving it to Christ who took it all on the cross. It is the only true sacrifice we ha e to make.
To hold on is to give up eternal life.

Kindness and mercy are definitely important, but we should not forget grace and forgiveness as well as sharing God’s Word with all people. There is nothing more loving than pointing each other to God.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

We are blessed when we realize our wretchedness compared to God, and we mourn the sin the separates us from God – our own sins and the sins of others.
For only then can we seek the blessing of forgiveness and eternal life in Jesus Christ.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

If we love God, we will obey Him. The best way to obey is to be like Him, letting the Holy Spirit move through us to love others sacrificially.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you

Nothing we can do can save us nor earn us glorified eternal bodies. Being willing to admit we need infinite help from our limitless Creator God who saves through His Son by the power of the Holy Spirit and glorifies is what leads us to salvation.

Why would the lost of the world want to come to God if now is the best life can be because of health, wealth, and nice things? Rather, they should see that this world has no true hold on us, but that we have not in all circumstances and desire a new world with God.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21, ESV
We do not retaliate against wrongs done to us or around us. We know that our Lord will deal with evil in its due time, especially upon His return!
