Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Ephesians 6:11, ESV
The armor of God is the gift of the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and Son, that Christ may work in and through us to stop evil and the Evil one.
And now the encouraging admonition for leaders. God is good.

It’s early on a Sunday morning, 15 minutes before 7 a.m., to be exact. I’m sitting here at the dining room table with my Bible and my laptop (graciously provided to me by our church), contemplating the Scripture I am going to be sharing a few hours from now.
What I am about to say is not for everyone, for not everyone has been given the responsibility to lead. Nevertheless, though not all of us will have the opportunity and calling to shepherd a congregation of believers, each and every one of us will at some point be responsible for communicating truth to those for whom we are one day going to give an account.
The verse from this morning’s text that has captured my attention is Titus 2:15.
“These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9, ESV
We have the promise given to Joshua and reiterated by Jesus that He is always with us, to the end of the age. We can be sing and courageous in the hope of Jesus’ presence and imminent return.
Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
Isaiah 9:7, ESV
God has come to us and saved us, and when He returns His Kingdom shall be the only kingdom full of His saved saints.

Merry Christmas! Since this is Christmas I thought I gather in one post what contradictions I dealt with surrounding the account of the Birth of Jesus from the bigger lists of Bible Contradictions we have refuted. God became one of us to bring us grace, truth, forgiveness, and hope.
