VerseD: Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline.

Wisdom is fearing consequences and wanting to know the best ways to find good consequences. Knowledge should point us to the good choice, which is always God’s ways.

True knowledge points to God, and we should fear His wrath unless we are wise and follow Him.
