God told the Prophets God was coming to save His people, yet no one expected Him to come as a human. May we be open to see God moving in unexpected ways yet that align with Scripture, taking care to have gentleness and compassion while leading others to worship our Lord.
And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior”
Luke 1:46-47, CSB
God told the Prophets God was coming to save His people, and Mary also worshiped her Son. We can know Jesus is God with us and worthy of our worship, for He was born to die for our sins.
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill what he has spoken to her!”

God told the prophets Jesus was coming, and He came. He said He is coming again. Let us join with Mary in believing the Word of the Lord that God is with us.
The angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

There is joy in knowing the Prince of Peace came to us as one of us, from conception to death on the cross, to free us from sin and empower us to believe and share the gospel.
keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2, CSB
We find joy and peace by remaining focused on the joy Christ could see on the other side of the cross, knowing He took our shame and punishment on Himself to bring us into fellowship with God when we believe He saved us from the curse of sin and is always with us.
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love
Ephesians 4:2, CSB
We find joy in imitating the patience, humility, and gentleness of God’s love, living sacrificially as Christ did with us. We believe Jesus lived this way, so we bring His peace to others.
But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name
John 1:12, CSB
We find joy in the love of God who saves all those who believe in Jesus, God in the flesh who saved us from sin and separation from God by His death and resurrection.
So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.
Romans 10:17, CSB
We find joy and patience in knowing that God was patient with us yet sent others to preach the gospel to us that we might believe in Christ. May we be patient with others and learn the joy of helping them hear the gospel.
You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.
James 5:8, CSB
We find joy in the loving patience of God which pushes us toward patience with others, for we know He has been patient with us and with the whole world, giving the lost more time to seek Him.
Let us enjoy the fellowship of the brethren in Christ!
