We show our salvation by the change, the difference in how we act and think. We don’t do good works to earn salvation, rather they are a sign that we are saved from sin and God’s wrath.
In Philippians 3 with the Youth last night, I asked how we live out our faith with confidence, not arrogance, and it suddenly became a mini-lesson on the fruit of the Spirit. It was great.
Oh, and they also lovingly mocked me for my “most wonderful word picture” by writing “SIN” in big capital letters and then writing over it with bigger letters “CHRIST” to show He has covered our sins.
Just thought I would share that, too.
